If it says NTFS, HPFS, EXT4 or something else, it will not work in a Garmin device. If the card is correctly formatted, you will see FAT32 as in the screen shot below: If you need to check, then insert the card into your Windows computer, and Right-Click on the drive letter shown for the card, and select Properties. Garmin devices only support MicroSD cards that are formatted as FAT32. If you use a MicroSD card that is not brand new, and that has been used in another device (such as a smartphone, camera, etc.) it probably won’t be formatted correctly.
